Dave Mace He recently joined First National Bank of Hutchinson as Vice President and Portfolio Manager, First Wealth Management.
Prior to joining The First, Mace spent over 20 years in the financial planning industry. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Friends University and an MBA in personal finance planning from Kansas State University.
He served on the Smith Center City Council and the Advisory Committee of the Kansas / Nebraska Schools of Banking Trust.
WICHITA – Teresa Miller has been named President and CEO of the Kansas Health Foundation (KHF), a statewide philanthropy based in Wichita. Your appointment will take effect on or before June 1st. Miller is currently the secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services.
Originally from Oregon, Miller received a Juris Doctorate from Willamette University College of Law and a BA in Political Science and Psychology from Pacific Lutheran University.
She has been the Secretary for Human Services in Pennsylvania since 2017. She is working to improve access to critical body and behavioral health services through Medicaid, improve access to food by simplifying the requirements of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, expanding childcare and pre-K programs, and improving the community Quality of health care. She heads the largest government agency with around 16,000 employees and a total budget of over 45 billion US dollars.
Prior to becoming secretary for Human Services, Miller was an insurance commissioner in Pennsylvania, held executive positions in the federal government’s Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, and was the insurance administrator for the Oregon Department of Consumer and Business Services.
Currently, Miller is a member of the Congressional Budget Office’s Panel of Health Advisors, providing feedback on federal policies and laws that affect healthcare consumers.
